About the firm

Real estate that
builds legacies.

Whether you are allocating capital, selling a property, or building something in your own community, the conversation begins the same way.

Founded 2016 — Virginia, USA

The story

What began at a kitchen table

Founded in 2016, Mavinstone has spent nearly a decade creating real change through real estate. What began as a family initiative grew into a robust, multi-state fund grounded in trust, transparency, and cultural responsibility.

The composition has always been unusual. Mavinstone brings together international and local investors in a single vehicle — a hybrid of global capital and neighborhood knowledge, built to support sustainable wealth and long-term community success in Virginia and beyond.

In 2026 we marked our tenth anniversary: a decade of development with purpose, and the beginning of a longer chapter.

Mission

To transform underutilized spaces into thriving environments — creating lasting value for families, investors, and neighborhoods at once.

Vision

A model of ownership where equitable housing, disciplined investment, and cultural responsibility are understood to be the same practice.

Core values

Four commitments, applied daily.

01

Integrity First

The standard we apply when no investor, tenant, or regulator is watching is the same one we apply when they are.

02

People Over Profit

A property is a home before it is a holding. When those two interests diverge, the resident is not the one who absorbs the cost.

03

Culturally Grounded, Globally Minded

We are rooted in the neighborhoods we operate in and connected to capital far beyond them. Neither perspective is allowed to overrule the other.

04

Transparency and Trust

Reporting is plain, records are accurate, and partners are told what is difficult as promptly as what is going well.

Legacy

A decade of development with purpose.

2016

A family initiative

Mavinstone begins as a family commitment to buy, repair, and hold property in places most capital had written off.

2017

Opportunity Zones are written into law

Federal legislation creates a mechanism to redirect capital gains into long-term investment in underserved areas — a structure that matches how Mavinstone already worked.

Growth

From initiative to fund

The family effort becomes a privately managed, multi-state Opportunity Zone fund pairing international and domestic investors around a shared standard of conduct.

Operations

Antstone LLC takes the field

Property management is brought in-house through Antstone LLC, acting as both landlord and agent so that quality is owned, not outsourced.

2026

A decade of development with purpose

Mavinstone marks its tenth anniversary — nearly ten years of creating real change through real estate, grounded in trust, transparency, and cultural responsibility.

Ahead

The Next Decade

Expansion into North Carolina, community-focused housing models, wider access for international investors, and a deeper commitment to green and sustainable building.
Our future

Not just building properties.

As we approach our tenth anniversary, four commitments define the next chapter.

Expansion into North Carolina

Extending the model into a second state, at the same pace and the same standard.

Community-focused housing models

Housing designed around what residents actually need to remain in place.

Increased access for international investors

Widening the door for global capital committed to long-horizon American communities.

Green and sustainable building

A greater commitment to development that costs the next generation less.

Leadership

Lawrence "Larry"
Macarty Eyeson

Founder, Mavinstone Onyx LLC

Born in Ghana and raised in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Larry brings a rare combination of cultural depth and urban tenacity to real estate. The journey from West Africa to the East Coast instilled a durable appreciation for three things: opportunity, community, and resilience.

A lifelong entrepreneur, he has spent decades building businesses centered on real estate development, investment, and community revitalization. The mission has never wavered — transform underutilized spaces into thriving environments, and create lasting value for families, investors, and neighborhoods alike.

Through Mavinstone Onyx LLC he continues to champion smart growth, equitable housing, and impactful investment, particularly in Opportunity Zones and economically distressed areas, with a vision rooted in integrity, innovation, and legacy-building.

Beyond the boardroom he is a devoted Philadelphia Eagles supporter — a fan who wears green with pride and brings the same loyalty and grit to his business ventures that he brings to his team.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, she brings years of hands-on experience to the role. A resident of Oak Level, Virginia, she spends her time with family and at Giggling Creek Cottage. Her dedication, reliability, and consistently positive attitude make her indispensable to how the companies operate.

An operations-first mindset applied to every property in the portfolio.

He attended the University of Miami, focusing his studies on real estate and sharpening his understanding of asset performance, tenant operations, and long-term portfolio strategy. His professional work has centered on property management systems, process improvement, and risk mitigation, ensuring properties are run with consistency, accountability, and strong resident outcomes.
